Description

Federal Government Employees Housing Authority under auspices of Ministry of Housing and Works has initiated a pilot project of high rise apartment scheme for Federal Government employees and other specified groups. The scheme has been launched on land owned by FGEHA in sector  G-13 /1&4 , Islamabad. Total plot size of project is 15.37 acres, in which 10.10 acres is located at G-13/1 and remaining 5.27 acres is located in G-13/4. FGEHA has launched this scheme through Joint Venture of public private partnership for construction of Ground +16 storey high-rise apartments on 10.10 acre plot while ground +17 floors apartments on 5.27 acre plot, with three basements in both the plots. In all, 3240 apartments will be constructed out of which 2379 have been allocated to the Federal Government Employees in all categories while 861 set apart for General Public (GP).

EHFPRO is a private limited company registered underthe Companies Ordinance, 1984 with Security and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP). It is a dynamic Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) formed under joint collaboration of Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) and M/s Progressive Motels & Resorts. Its formation is aimed at developing and undertaking Lifestyle Residency Project in sector G-13 Islamabad and else where in the country, on public-private concept. The SPV offers an ideal combination of expertise, both from Private and Public Sectors. EHFPRO is a formidable initiative of dedicated professionals infused with the vigor to ensure completion of project within the specified time ensuring best quality of work.

Moving along Prime Minister’s vision to provide affordable housing facility to Government Employees and General Public, EHFPRO has embarked upon its model project, “LIFESTYLE Residency”, providing a safe, secure and enclosed environment for residents in the Capital city.

The project is located at the gateway to Islamabad in the newly developed Sector G-13, Islamabad. It is nearly 13 Kms from the new Islamabad International Airport within closed proximity of the Motorway and offers an easy access from Kashmir Highway through a 4-lane metal led / carpeted road running 500 meters wide. Current Status / Progress / Development / Update

Grey structure of apartments in 07 Towers on 10-acre plot has been completed; however, grey structure of one Tower (B-1) is under construction. Phase-1 of the project (10-acre plot) is expected to be completed in a year’s time from now. In case of apartments on 5-acre plot, construction work is underway. This portion of the project will be completed, tentatively by end of July 2023.

Last year, the unsold GP Quota apartments which were previously being offered to the general public at the rate of Rs 8000/- per square foot, were offered to the Federal Government employees, specified groups and General Public at an average rate of Rs 6500/sft. While apartments in A and B categories were sold and allotted, there are some apartments in C, D and E categories still available for allotment, on competitive market price.
