An inspection team of the Federal Ombudsman visited the FGE Housing Authority

An inspection team consisting of officers of the Federal Ombudsman headed by the Senior Advisor visited the FGE Housing Authority on 22 May 2024. On this occasion, Capt. (Retd.) Muhammad Zafar Iqbal, Director General FGEHA, and other officers welcomed the Federal Ombudsman team.

Director General FGEHA briefed the Federal Ombudsman on various projects including G-14, F-14, F-12, Green Enclave-I, Green Enclave-II (Sky Gardens), and other apartment projects.

The Federal Ombudsman inspection team visited various wings of the Housing Authority and appreciated the efforts of the Capt. (Retd.) Muhammad Zafar Iqbal, Director General, Admitting Section, and the arrangements for public services of Facilitation Centre of Housing Authority.

Decision of Executive Board

The EB directed in its 30^th meeting held on 30 November 2023 as under:

            “F-12/G-12 Scheme be re-evaluated technically, financially & legally. Consequently, approval may be sought from the Executive Board to re-launch the said scheme. A fresh advertisement to be placed in newspapers indicating new cost, conditions and quota and existing applicants may be given and option for refund.”

Current Update

• M/S NESPAK has been selected as a consultant for F-12/G-12.
• Layout Plan (LOP) & assessment of built-up properties (BUPs) are under process.
• After the finalization of LOP & assessment of BUPs, the revised cost of plots shall be placed before the Executive Board for approval.
• Fresh advertisement with revised cost of plots shall be published in newspapers after approval from the Executive Board.
• Applicants who applied for F-12/G-12 before the closing date 10-10-2023 shall be included in the balloting after a fresh advertisement with revised cost.

IG Islamabad Police Akbar Nasir Khan met with Capt (R) Muhammad Zafar Iqbal Director General, FGE Housing Authority.
In the meeting, the two officers discussed the security situation of the FGE Housing Authority sectors and issues of mutual interest.
IG Islamabad Police appreciated the efforts and development achievements of the FGE Housing Authority and assured that the Islamabad Police stands by the Housing Authority in the face of security/land issues of the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority.

FGEHA has approved PC-1 of the Water Conduction Main missing line from Shah Allah Ditta reservoir to FGEHA Sectors G-13 & G-14 in the DWP meeting held on 24th November 2022 under the chairmanship of worthy Director General FGEHA. The project will be completed in one year on a top-priority basis. Currently, Sectors G13 & G14 are facing a 2.5 MGD shortage of water and in the summer season residents of said sectors badly suffered. After approval CDA will provide 1MGD water and the Long-standing water issue of FGEHA Sectors will be resolved.

All the respected members are requested to follow the following steps for Online Request/Complaints in changes of BPS/Grade, Designation, Address, Office, Category):-

1) Register yourself at EFMS (https://efms.fgeha.org.pk/register.php)
2) Click on the Complaint Tab/Button
3) Register your Complaint
4) System will generate automatic Complaint No, against your Complaint
5) FGEHA ESTATE wing Official/Officer will resolve the complaint on an immediate basis according to the defined criteria
6) After the resolution of the complaint, the system will generate automatic intimation Email/SMS to the complainant.
